Ama Lou Announces First Headlining Tour ‘Before It Was Knew’

International songstress Ama Lou is thrilled to announce her Before It Was Knew fall tour in support of her latest project, “DDD”. The slew of dates will serve as Ama’s first headlining tour with performances across three continents; Europe, North America, and Australia. The 20 y/o will kick off the run of dates on October 17th at Festival Paradiso in Amsterdam, Netherlands, including a stop at Tyler The Creators: Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles. The Before It Was Knew tour also includes debut solo shows in New York City, Melbourne, Paris and Toronto, Canada.

Before It Was Knew is a concept created by Ama Lou and Things We’ve Made and presented during her live sets supporting Jorja Smith in Spring 2018. Each night, during the 17-city North American tour, Ama would tease unfinished demos. These teasers were snippets and lyrics from her artistic archive before they ever became songs. The crowd feedback from these moments contributed to her divine destiny and belief that who she will be is who she is now. This tour is a culmination of her past, present, and future in music, film, art and fashion.

Through the duration of BIWK tour, Ama will produce and deliver a live-recorded album and full-length documentary “Before It Was New.” The documentary follows on the heels of Ama’s Debut Film, “DDD” that has now accumulated over 1 million YouTube views. The live album will be released across all streaming platforms paired with the documentary at the top of 2019.
