Ready for some new flavor in your ear? Well the long anticipated wait for the solo project by SIKA has come to an end. Formally a group member of Calico Panache (BET’s 106 & Park WildOutWednesday Female Soul Winners, Nov. 2011), SIKA has embraced the indie music world as a singer/songwriter in Jackson, Mississippi. Her very first project is an introduction to her musical flare as a solo artist and is titled, “The Meal Plan EP.” SIKA has been featured on numerous Jackson home-grown artist’s music projects.
This project only has three tracks in the form of appetizer, entrée, and dessert. There are also skits in between songs relevant to the introduction of her and short enough not to lose your attention. The project only takes 15 minutes of your day, unless you hear something repeat worthy. The Meal Plan is available via Bandcamp now and on September 14th the project will be available on all streaming sites.
