Cam Newton rented an $11 million mansion back in March after the Carolina Panthers’ Super Bowl loss to the Denver Broncos. He reportedly paid $123,000 to rent the mansion for 61 days and agreed there would be no parties, no smoking, and no more than eight guests.

Newton allegedly didn’t adhere to the agreement. The housekeeper snitched, telling the rental company Newton had been throwing multiple parties and leaving cigarette ashes all over the house. Newton was reportedly warned to cut it out, but he allegedly responded by telling the housekeeper to stop telling on him.

The Panthers’ quarterback is now being sued by Jared Pobre, the husband of pro wrestler Stacy Kiebler, and manager of the luxury home rental company who leased the mansion to Newton. According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ Sports, when Newton moved out, Pobre says the house had been trashed; he broke an expensive fridge, caused water damage to the floors, ruined linens, and worst of all, destroyed a fancy $32,000 rug. Pobre says they went after Cam for the damages, $90,324.47 in total but he never paid. Pobre says home repairs took more than two months to complete, so he wants Cam to also pay an additional $180,000 in lost rent, totaling $270,324.47, plus legal fees.
